What I’m THINKING About Doing…And What It Could Mean For You..The Whole “New Direction” For My Teaching And Me
Dear Speed Seduction(R) Fans, Friends, Students and the curious….
In the email I sent out Friday, I told you all that I was thinking of doing something crazy, and that you should watch for an announcement today, Monday.
Well, here it is Monday. And here is the announcement about creating something new that will change the focus of my business.
Before I get to it, I want to tell you the why of the what. The reasons behind why I think this is of major, even crucial importance to do this, as soon as possible-why I wish I could do it today.
So follow along with me and get excited about this whole new spin on things as I reveal how I think it could dramatically benefit you.
You see, as I look around the world today, from the perspective of a professional persuader, I realize a profound truth that you, as someone who wants to survive and even thrive economically had better realize:
People no longer trust anyone anymore, or any institution, or virtually anything!
It used to be that we just distrusted our politcians. Or our food supply. Or our water. Or the air we breath.
Now, people don’t even trust that their savings accounts, retirement funds, or investments of any kind will be there tomorrow, much less the next month or the next year.
C’mon now. Did you ever think that you’d actually see giant institutions like WAMU bite the big one? Did you ever think that things would get so bad that the President of the United States would go on tv and guarantee your auto repair warranty?
Didn’t think so.
Listen: if you are in any kind of business(including the business of finding a job keeping your current one in the face of massive cuts)then knowing the cutting edge of persuasion is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity.
Why?
Well, putting it scientifically….
People Don’t Believe A Word Anyone Fucking Says These Days
They don’t believe you are telling the truth.
They don’t believe there are any solutions to their problems.
And even if they did believe there are solutions, they don’t believe they will work for them.
Bottom line:
People are stressed, people are skeptical, and people are on “survival” mode only.

Look: I love teaching Speed Seduction(R). I hope to keep teaching it until I no longer enjoy the damn job(or until it somehow stops paying). But the reality is, as I look around the world and how it is falling the frack apart, I realize it is probably time for me to….
..Teach Everything I Know On Persuasion For Business Skills, Marketing, Selling, Speaking, Prosperity And Survival!
Listen: it’s not like I haven’t been thinking about this for years. In fact, back in 2006, I got 85% finished with a book/CD series on how to use principles of advanced “mind-framing” and hypnotic copy to increase the response of any sales letter, web page, space ad or flyer by at least 500%.
The product was goddamn good too; breakthrough stuff. But it didn’t seem the time to complete so I left it on the shelf
(I’m sorry to say I will NOT ever complete it, so sorry, you will almost certainly NEVER get to read or hear it. Unless of course you show so much participation here in this blog that I put up free samples of the MP3s and the transcripts. Maybe.)
But I want to know what YOU think.
Has the time come for me to a book/product/live event where:
*I teach you everything I know about hypnotic/persuasive/mind-frame writing
*I teach you everything I know about persuasion , including platform presentations, sales trainings, political speeches, publicity interviews, negotiations(even interrogations: yes, I actually consulted with a 3 letter government agency on this!), teaching, etc.
*I teach you about energetic influence/non-verbal persuasion/spatial anchoring and other slick shit from my “mental vault” that I seldom talk about in public anymore.
Give me your opinion here on the blog, below and stay tuned. Because if you give me good feedback over the coming days and weeks, I think I WILL start posting some of the MP3s and transcripts from the unfinished “Mind Frame” copywriting book.

I don’t believe that I had that, so I have to go review it over the next few days to see if it is good quality and worthwhile!

I am all for making the most of one’s potential.
If using your tools amp up my ability to sell myself and and what I can bring to an organisation then I’m in all the way.

The time has come, Ross. Otherwise people will start looking up to a single idol (i.e. national gov’t) for “hope” instead of each other.

I disagree. I think as people age their memories and beliefs solidify and strengthen. In fact, during the teen years a process of “pruning” takes place in the brain where that’s exactly what happens. I think younger people are more malleable and open to ideas than anything — just a matter of getting them properly motivated.. which I, myself have often had problems with, naturally.
Just think Ross, if I had waited until I was 30 until I finally witnessed your material.. It would be expentially harder for me to trust into it or really anything that had to do with hypnosis. But because I was soo young, I almost instaneously knew it would work!

I’m quite surprised you are even “polling” Ross. Since when has “leaving it up to the audience” been an expression of authentic personal power? I respect your knowledge and your decision how to use it to serve.
Your gut already knows what it wants to do. Stop wasting time and get to work doing what you are INSPIRED to do. And…if this is just one of your “mindframe” techniques, I’d love to know what the intention is.

Hey Ross,
A couple months ago, I bought some AWAI copywriting program and was going to start as a copywriter. I’m a hypnotist and was at your LA SS Seminar in January. I currently work as a radiographer but work is slow and need a new career path. I was thinking of taking my GMATs and going to Stanford or USC but this copywriting thing sounds encouraging. I would LOVE to learn from you on how to really become profitable in this line of work and maybe not become an unemployed investment banker with a huge college debt or something in this new Jimmy Carter style biz environment.

I agree that few people will trust what is said by anyone, unless they really trust themselves and know the source well. Though, I’m interested, I’m not sure if I care to convert the untrustworthy people who don’t trust anyone. The thought of it just seems like a pain in the ass.

Ross, like the other guys are saying - the time has come.
I am on the path of finding a job in London, because I just moved here. And it’s darn hard to find any job without an education of some sort. If you post mp3s or texts out of your mindframe book, it would be essentiel for my future here in London. Meaning that I could use and implement your amazing techniques with my own personality and get better jobs than working 9-5 in a Starbucks or Pizza Hut.
And I agree on your statements that people don’t trust anymore - it’s true. I’ve stood in bank lines, lines to shops where people were talking about how they maybe should withdraw their cash and save it somewhere at home. Because who knows - everything could happen right now in the times of the financial crisis. Some might not feel it out there, but I do. Because I’m searching for work.

Hey Ross its Langston just wanted to say its time for the world to know what these tools can really good. I can say that I have been working on translating speed seduction to other areas of my life. I can see the difference when I used this on a job interview yesterday. I know I got the job because I was using some of the same principles of speed seduction like vibe when I demonstrating understanding of the employers world. For example during the interview I would do this by summarizing what she said and repeated it back to her in a different way. I spoke my truth in a clever way. I would take the perceived meaning of certain words such as strengths and weaknesses and turn them around to talk about myself in a different way. I changed the word strength into things that I am currently doing well at and the word weakness into things that I am improving upon. I was also able to use some anchoring techniques from the irresitable arousal dvd like when you did the twins brother scenario on the girl. I translated it onto the job interview when I got some of her values and I linked them to my thumb then me. I was doing this anchoring technique throughout the interview especially when she was giving me qualities of what she was looking for in her employees. The final technique I used was time distortion. At the end of the interview I said something along the lines of when u think of the type of person u are looking for wouldn’t it be great to laugh after u hired the right person and look back on it as a great decision. I was self pointing when I said the word person and subtly nodded my head which she did in agreement unconsciously. Another result of demonstrating understanding of their world was that the employer started revealing information at least I thought was only reserved for employees of hers. I know their are know promises but it was cool to translate what I have and are currently learning with speed seduction into all other areas of life. I hope that you might allow us the opportunity to learn more of your teaching on a more new and improved level.
